EDU 2110 - Investigating Issues In Education
3 hours
A study of the historical and philosophical foundations of education; a general overview of the dynamics of teaching and learning; the structure of the American educational system; as well as current educational issues and trends. Job market trends are discussed. Additional topics include ethics for Georgia educators and tiered certification. Field experience required. This course is not required for Music Education majors.
Prerequisite: GPA 2.0; an acceptable background check; liability insurance.
