MGT 3300 - Principles Of Management

This course provides an overview of management theory and practice by understanding the historical development of management and how it shapes the role of managers in today’s organizations. Students will examine the role of behavior (personality, values, motivation, and group dynamics) within organizations and how to it plays into managing an organization. Students will review the key components of management such as planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling.
