ENG 2111 - Intro to Lit.: African American Lit

This course examines the writings of the African American authors who changed the American social, political, and cultural landscape during the age of slavery, reconstruction, segregation, and into the present era. These authors’ connection to the old continent and their influence on French literature is explored as well.
