EDU 3500 - Methods & Materials For Teah. Ell

This course emphasizes the knowledge, understanding, and pedagogy of teaching English Language Learners (ELLs). Major topics include understanding and implementing best practices and effective instructional strategies for planning lessons and teaching ELL’s, utilizing assessments of ELL’s, and demonstrating professional dispositions and behaviors for working with ELL’s and their families; the course includes indepth work with the WIDA standards. Field Experience Required.
