NUR 4130 - Leadership/Management& Prof. Issues 3 hours A study of basic concepts of nursing leadership and management. This course emphasizes the role of the professional registered nurse as the manager/designer/coordinator of care as well as a member of a profession. Concepts of patient-centered care, safety of care, resources and finance, information management and informatics, quality management, and healthcare outcome measurements will be identified and discussed.
Prerequisite: Completion of all previous nursing courses. Corequisite: NUR 4220 , NUR 4230 and NUR 4310
