NUR 3220 - Essentials of Psychiatric Mental Health
5 hours
An exploration of the nursing care of those with persistent, severe mental illnesses. This course focuses on the role of caregiver and manager of care. Opportunities for clinical laboratory experiences include acute care, long-term care, and community health settings. Three (3) hours of instructional time and six (6) hours of clinical time per week.
Prerequisite: NUR 4110 , NUR 3230 and NUR 3155
Corequisite: NUR 3400 , NUR 4120 , NUR 4200 and NUR 4210
