MUS 1012 - Aural Training I
2 hours
This course begins the aural training sequence with a study of scale degrees, rhythm, scales, intervals, and triads through sight singing, transcription, and error detection. Emphasis is on experiential tasks and the skill of audiation; in addition to class meetings, students attend a weekly prepared-singing appointment.
Prerequisite: Aural diagnostic exam or approval of instructor.
Taken Concurrently With MUS 1011 .
