MKT 3610 - Foundations Of Advertising

A basic survey of the field of advertising with emphasis upon advertising as communication, as a promotional tool within the marketing realm, and its economic and social effects. The students should gain an understanding of the role the persuasive media play in both professional and private lives. This course will offer a foundation in fundamental concepts and will examine the emerging interactive technology influencing persuasive messages.
